Pivot & Spring Loaded Pivot Brackets

EPC's brackets allow for convenient mounting of an encoder and measuring wheel over the surface being measured. Pivot brackets use the combined weight of the encoder, measuring wheel, and bracket to provide surface torsion, while the single pivot action allows the assembly to adjust pitch for variations in material.

Spring loaded pivot brackets provide an adjustable surface torsion, which allows the encoder and measuring wheel to be mounted in almost any orientation, even upside down. The single pivot action allows the assembly to adjust pitch for variations in material height.

The PLMS pivot bracket (Stock #176742-02) allows you to select the right encoder for your solution. For use with programmable incremental encoder Model 25SP, absolute encoder Model A25SB, or Ethernet-ready absolute encoder Model A58SE.
