Encoder Products Company measuring wheels are made of high grade aluminum alloy. Polyurethane faced measuring wheels are good for materials such as (but not limited to):
- Metal pipe
- Sandpaper
- Matting
- Cardboard/packaging
- Belting
- Insulated wire
When choosing durometer ratings (or, degrees of hardness), consider that 90 polyurethane is more durable and performs better for tracking rough or hard fibers than the slightly softer 80 polyurethane material.
